Creative Reuse Center is a project that is about collecting residual and waste materials from the companies in the area. We believe the companies are sitting on gold mines without them knowing about it.
Businesses in the neighborhood donate now waste materials to Creative Reuse Center, and they have approx. 70 companies that sponsor them in different ways. Everything to challenge children's creativity and desire to experiment!
Preschools and school classes do visit as often as they can.
The vision is that the re-use center will be a REMIDA centre.
REMIDA's name comes from the Italian city of Reggio Emilia, which is known worldwide for its preschools activity. They have for some time been working to use the residual and waste materials from the company in its educational activities.
The last four letters Mida comes from the Greek mythology and legend of King Midas who got his wish that everything he touched turned to gold.
That's how we like to think - that all children touches turns with their creativity and imagination also into gold!
It is not important what material it has been, but what it can become!
Rubbish is what remains when the imagination has run out!
